My friend Tod Seelie was talking about how he really didn’t want much, in general, but when he saw Instagram, that was something he desired. The thing is, he has an Android phone, and the program was just for iPhones. Until recently!
Tod spoke with such passion about it, I needed to make him a patch. So, we paraphrased his quote, “I have been patient, and now I will enjoy this.” We decided on a snake, because I think it is bad ass, and Tod brought up that snakes patiently pursue their pray, and take a long time to digest.
I also thought doing it with glow in the dark on denim would be cool. Then I realized it was hard to read, because of the white fibers in denim. So, I thought about how to fix it. Which was to break it all the way, and put it on white. Of course, this underscores the importance of being patient…
